Time, Comfort and Money
Time, comfort, and money are the three biggest concerns of most people as they enter dental treatment. We understand your concerns and take them seriously.
Time
Because we are committed to the quality of our work, we allow extra time to do it well. Should time be a consideration for you, we offer longer appointments to get as much done as possible at one time. Our Hospital Dentistry option allows patients to sleep through exceptionally long appointments.
Comfort
Part of our mission is to make our services as comfortable and pain free as possible. To help us accomplish this, we offer you the following:
- Topical Anesthetic: Before giving an injection, we make sure that your gums are numb by using a Novocain gel.
- Several Kinds of Novocain: All of the local anesthetics are not alike. We offer long acting, short acting, "no epinephrine" and "deep penetrating" local anesthetics. We also offer several ways to deliver them to help those who have a hard time getting numb.
- Nitrous Oxide Gas: Nitrous oxide, mixed with oxygen (no less than 40% oxygen) is a safe and effective anti-anxiety combination. We offer this at no extra charge if it is desired.
- Headphones: Often people find it soothing and relaxing to listen to music or the radio while having work done.
- Back and Neck Support Pillows: Should you wish for extra support while sitting in the dental chair, it is available.
Money
To help you plan your finances, we go out of our way to be specific and informative about costs. Accurate accounting of fees always will be given before any treatment is performed.
We will provide any and all necessary paperwork to help you receive the maximum benefit from dental insurance.
Our first visit is a free consultation during which you can learn about our practice, the dental services required, and the fees involved. This consultation typically takes one half hour to two hours.
